China, America, Kenya, Jordan, Majorca, India, and of course the UK – there aren’t many places Aid International hasn’t taken a cycling team.
Whether it’s cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats, London to Paris or along the Great Wall of China, each trip combines fresh air and exercise with culture and countryside, making it both fun and a challenge.
These trips usually last a week, with cycling taking place over five days, and you’ll certainly cover plenty of ground during that time. The average day sees a group cover between 50 and 60 miles, which means you’ll definitely earn your sponsorship money!
After setting off early, you’ll do four stretches of cycling, with a morning and afternoon ‘rest and regroup’ break as well as lunch. Then, once the sun’s gone down, there’s time to relax and socialise over an evening meal before heading to bed, ready to start it all against in the morning.
If you want to see a lot of country in a short space of time, you couldn’t do better than accomplish that from atop a bike on one of Aid International’s fundraising trips.
