We've found that once someone comes on a trip with Aid International they usually want to come again! That's why last year we put together this special reunion bike ride, and it was so popular that we're planning on going again this year. The trip is open to past participators and new friends too, and we'll be heading once more to the beautiful commune of Riccione.
Located on Italy's east coast within the province of Rimini, Riccione is right in the middle of the eastern Italian Riviera and one of the best known seaside resorts in Northern Italy. Temperatures can rise to 30C in July and August, but May is cooler at around 20C, making it the perfect time to explore the area by bike.
Unusually for one of our cycling trips, the team will not be heading from one location to another but will remain based at the same hotel throughout the week, with day trips spanning out in all directions. Each day's cycling will cover 50 to 60 miles, with spare time and evenings left open for you to explore the area, and enjoy the local food and entertainment.
